Awesome work. The only thing I would suggest is to somehow make the area near the head and upper body more defined (they're stone right?) to make them more separate to the sky. The monotone works really well. Fantastic interpretation all round!

No problem, besides that it's a very nicely done image. Did you use a low trans stone looking brush over the figures or what?
